An artsy short of my progress and recovery over the past year. I sustained a broken left shoulder, a dislocation and complete severing of my left bicep muscle, rotator cuff, and labrum, as well as three cracked ribs in January 2016. I underwent reconstructive surgery on my left shoulder and bicep in February 2016. Thanks to M83’s truly cinematic song, “My Tears Are Becoming a Sea”, I was able to convey a surreal transition between then and now, intertwined with photos and videos of the aspects that fueled and helped my recovery.
